A clean ivory back, a contrasting black palm

The ivory panel covers the back of the hand and continues along the fingers, with narrow black sections defining the spaces between them. A gently curved seam crosses below the hand, joining the upper panel to the longer cuff. The back stays plain, so the shape and contrast do most of the work.

On the other side, the black palm extends down toward the wrist, bordered by ivory along the outer edges. Each finger is individually covered, and a separate thumb panel follows the side of the hand. The result is a pair with a clear difference between the two sides, brought together by the same black-and-ivory color scheme.

Dotted palm texture and neatly finished cuffs

Small raised dots are arranged across the central palm, adding a textured area to the otherwise plain black surface. The surrounding panels remain free of that dotted pattern, making the palm detail easy to distinguish. Curved stitching near the thumb and beneath the fingers outlines the separate sections of the glove.

At the wrist, a line of zigzag stitching runs across the palm side. The cuff extends below it and ends in a narrow stitched hem, with ivory edging visible against the black panel. Small black tabs sit at the sides of the cuffs, keeping those details within the same restrained color palette.

Length and palm width

The dimensions shown are 10.2 inches in overall length and 4.1 inches across the palm. The length includes the extended cuff, measuring from the longest fingertip to the cuff opening. The palm width runs across the main body of the glove without including the thumb.

To compare the size, lay a pair of gloves you already wear comfortably on a flat surface and measure the same points. Check both the palm width and the full length, then consider how much cuff coverage you prefer at the wrist. These are glove measurements, rather than measurements of your hand.

Full-finger coverage with an extended cuff

The gloves cover each finger individually and continue past the wrist into a longer cuff. When worn, the ivory back gives a plain finish from the fingers down to the sleeve, while the black palm brings the dotted texture into view as you turn your hand.

The cuff can overlap the end of a sweater sleeve, as shown with the cream knitwear, so the glove and sleeve meet at the wrist. Settle the cuffs over or beneath your outer sleeves according to their width. The black-and-ivory finish is easy to pair with a neutral coat for everyday cold-weather dressing.
